Scrapbooking Kits? Of course they’re sassy, or can be anyway if that’s what you’re looking for. The thing is, there are lots of different kinds of kits. Do you want a full book kit? Or just a page kit? Sometimes, when you have just one event, but lots of pictures from it, it’s nice to have a kit to work with. For example, if you take a family vacation, or say, a trip to Disneyland (my fave) you’ll have a lot of pictures of just one event. Did you know they make a Disney Scrapbooking kit? The kit includes a Disney theme scrapbook, stickers, paper, embellishments, etc. You can also get them in different sizes, just in case you don’t have quite as many pictures as…say…I would…

Woohoo! TWILIGHT SCRAPBOOK KIT!!!! …nuf said….

So, when I was a little girl, one of my favorite books was Where the Wild Things Are. I’m afraid to see the movie, cause I’m not sure if I’ll like it or not. But, one thing I do like is this amazing scrapbook kit inspired by Where the Wild Things Are by the talented Sarah Barber.
It’s so pretty!!!!

So, I have huuuuge Scrapgirl respect for Sarah Barber of Sarah Barber Design. I hesitate to say favorite, because I love so many, but her artistic eye for color, texture and placement is genius. Her kits and layouts make me feel like I’m Salieri to her Mozart. She’s amazing. Please go check out her site. She’s recently moved, so click on the link above for the new site.

Who doesn’t love Steampunk? I don’t know anyone who doesn’t. Here’s as simple a definition as I could find (from The Clockwork Century) . Believe me, it’s much more: Steampunk could be considered a retro-futuristic neo-Victorian sensibility that is being embraced by fiction, music, games, and fashion. It is ornate and vibrant, and intricate. It believes that functional items can and should be beautiful. So, anyway, what could be more beautiful than Steampunk scrapbook kits! This gorgeous kit is by Creative Victorian Designs. I don’t usually put so many pictures, but this is AMAZING. Love it!!!

So, my mom is of an age. Well, she turned 75 about a week ago. My mom is a gentle, kind and wonderful woman. Not quite as sassy as me, but she has her moments. She loves WWII, 1940′s music and the moment I saw Wyld Web Designs’ Apple Blossom Time, I knew it was for her. It’s so pretty (insert singsongy tune here)…I’ll be with you, in Apple Blossom Time….Thank you to the Andrews Sisters for this timeless wonder…

Sorry I’ve been away for so long. My other life has been CRAZY busy. But I’m back with some sassy ideas. It’s Spring Break in most schools right now and I’m sure some of you are going to be going to one of the various Disney resorts out there. Here’s a beautiful kit from Britt-ish Designs for your Aladdin and Jasmine pics.

Sorry it’s been so long between posts! I’ve had a crazy summer! The cool thing is, my niece started kindergarten and I dedicate this post to her and all the cool pics I’ll be scrapping of her first day of school! Gingerscraps has some adorable layouts. Hope you love them as much as I do!
